Libre - R.E. DeBourg/V.A. Moreno
Written in 1993, Libre is a song I wrote with my high school friend Victor Adolfo Moreno in times when playing songs, writing and drawing were much higher priorities than our grades. I remember we sat at the desks all the way back in a small classroom at U.E. Cristobal Mendoza in Ciudad Alianza, Venezuela and talked about bands like Pearl Jam, Sui Generis and other established artists we enjoyed.
I have tried to reconnect with Victor and show him what the song we wrote sounds like these days but, to this point, it has not been possible.
The first idea for the guitar solo was first drafted later on by Ramfys Nieto from my first band Liverpool.

Escrita en 1993, Libre es una canción que escribí con mi amigo de escuela secundaria Victor Adolfo Moreno en una época cuando tocar canciones, escribir y dibujar eran una prioridad mucho más importante que el rendimiento académico. Recuerdo que nos sentábamos en los pupitres al final de la fila en un pequeño salon en la U. E. Cristobal Mendoza en Ciudad Alianza, Venezuela y hablábamos de bandas como Pearl Jam, Sui Generis y otros artistas que disfrutábamos.
He tratado de reconectar con Victor y mostrarle como suena la canción que escribimos actualmente pero, hasta el momento, no ha sido posible.
La primera idea para el solo de guitarra fue comenzada luego por Ramfys Nieto de mi primera banda Liverpool.
