    • The Fool On The Meal
But I Have It All
Roberto E. DeBourg

Missed the chance to tell
'bout the flames of hell
Days that fade away
They fade to the day
Called out to the friends
They had disappeared
Not a howdy phrase
Not a sign or trace

But what do you do?
I don't share your pain
I stood up alone
broken just the same

But I have it all
Own it from the heart
My greed has grown cold
It burns me from far

I can feel the breeze
She has never left
She whistles 'bout peace
And she dries me deaf

Here I stand again
Not so lonely now
Dancing in the rain
Dreaming oh so loud

But what do you do?
I don't feel the same
With you so far gone
On your missing train

But I have it all
Own it from the heart
My thirst is now quenched
I wait for my part

And they disappear
Time and time again
By the hand of some
with a mindless frame

Waking up the same
I connect my hand
I still feel the pain
I am just a man

But you’re born to choose
which ones are your fights
Hung to dry and bruised
You still breath the light

And they push you down
Making up a ghost
Not a fitting crown
Whispers up their nose
